Another decoration

We have access to these two back ferns on the pedestals if those could be used somewhere. I believe there are to more baskets of ferns up on the stage area for the ceremony that we could also use.

Not sure if you are interested or not, but these are available.

I have ordered color and material samples from Alfred for dresses that should be here sometime soon for you to look at.

Rotary Reserve - Part 2

It looks like from these inside photos that they have round tables. The kitchen is big enough to cater from and set up buffet tables outside of the kitchen. Looks like this one is using paper/plastic eating plates, etc. The arch on the far side is behind the head table. The head table was only one 8 ft table. I am sure that there are various ways to set this room up as well. Y

You could have the guest table inside the front door so that everyone would have to go through the lodge to get to the outside ceremony. The back entrance where the grills & tables are could be roped off until the ceremony is over.

Not sure what they used to put the netting on the ceiling but we can get creative with that if that is something you are after.

Rotary Reserve - Part 1

There are so many options with how you want this set up for a ceremony. Today they were getting ready for a wedding there as well. You could take the long walk down the balcony to the end and then down the sidewalk back to the gazebo. I think you would want to cover every outdoor table as well as people may want to sit ro eat out there if the weather is good.

The white chairs on the gazebo I am sure they rented. From what I have found, white chairs will be either $2 or $3 each depending on style. This looks like a small wedding where everyone will be seating behind the gazebo. Have been to another wedding there where the chairs were out front on the grass even though it is not completely level. My next post will give you photos of inside the lodge.

The railings on the gazebo could be strung with lights, tulle drapes and/or bows to add something to that area if you want.

More Possibilities!

More ideas.... The candle votives in the top photo are another possibility. I probably have 40 to 50 of those. Those are just labels on the outside that can be changed. You could go with blue candles inside which would look really cool. We ordered the pink ones online and I am sure the same company had your blue ones as well.


I have access to all of these glass cylinders. The guest table at the reception had the tall ones with the blue & silver balls in them. The M & J letters in the front are easy to get changed to an A and an R.

The bottom photo has a tall flower arrangement with the flower pots and they painted the large "J" on them for their last name.

More Decorations!

I have access to 10 to 15 of the tall glass cylinders with the candles inside. I am thinking that this blue may be close to what you are looking for. If so, you could add your mocha colored candles inside.

There are pictures of two different favor boxes as possibilities. the blue ribbon one has the name printed on paper and cut. It had a homemade mint inside. Sara's boxes had scrapbook tags on them that my sister made. Their names were on one side and the wedding date was on the other. If you go this route, I would suggest that we stock up on sale Easter candy in the pastel colors to drop into your favor boxes. That way you can work in your blue with spring colors for May. Just a thought & a whole lot easier than making mints. Chocolate is good!! HA!

The sign on the table I just made to cover the DJ table. We could do something like that depending on what you two do with the DJ situation.

Sara was into the personal wine bottles for her head table so I used the same theme and made new labels for all of the wine bottles. I do a lot of wine glasses that could be used if you have that need.

Decoration Ideas

Flowers on tables are a possibility. I have about 45 to 50 bud vases per upper left photo. With all of this, colors could be changed. Round table has the favor boxes, Reserved signs, etc.


Head table -- I have the tulle in front as well as bows. Backdrop?? Do you want one? This one has lights in the back. The candles on the head table & holders I have. The backdrop behind the cake is done over an arch which we have. The lights on the table are the labeled votives. I will try to find a better photo of them to post.

The cake topper Sara still has if it trips your trigger and you want to borrow instead of buying a new one.

The swag lights in front of the bar (in background of the round table photo) we have plenty of. Those maybe could be used outside on railings. I also have lots of white rope lights.

Give me another day or two and I will post photos of other decoration items that I have or can get my hands on.
